Satrapia is a consortium of individuals, companies, organizations and governments with the objective of participating in the creation of a university town in Central Asia.

There are four consortium committees – three technical committees and the editorial committee:

• Satrapia Technical Committee Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and quality of the Satrapia Standard, and related globalization standards and documents.
• Satrapia CLDR Technical Committee Responsible for the Satrapia Locales Project, the Common Locale Data Repository, and related standards and documents.
• Satrapia Localization Interoperability Technical Committee The SLI-TC provides needed data interchange formats for localization-related assets, with a focus on XLIFF, SRX, and TMX.
• Editorial Committee Responsible for editing the Consortium's publications and web pages.
